The boys cross country team at Roseburg High School was among the eight teams to earn the highest GPA in the entire state for their activity. The Indians had a grade point average of 3.93, tying them with North Medford for tops in the state.

“These new award winners continue our tradition of celebrating Oregon’s student athletes,” said Pete Kent, Executive Director of the Oregon Dairy Products Commission. “Their efforts are impressive, and we’re proud of their recognition.”

The Roseburg girls soccer team had a GPA of 3.86, which was the highest in class 6A (third overall).

The winning team in each Fall sport will be presented a plaque in honor of outstanding scholastic achievement and team members will receive a “got milk?” sweatshirt and a certificate.
