It's a double dose of championship football this weekend as two local teams battle for state titles.

The Douglas Trojans (11-2) enter Saturday's OSAA 4A state championship contest against Baker riding an eight-game winning streak. The latest victory was an 8-0 win over Estacada in last week's semifinal game in Cottage Grove.

The Bulldogs (11-1) have won nine consecutive games and are making their second straight appearance in the 4A final. Last season, Baker was beaten by Marist 55-16.

Saturday's championship game is set for 2:15PM at Hillsboro Stadium.

Camas Valley goes after its first title since 1990 when the Hornets take on unbeaten St. Paul (14-0) in the 1A championship game at Liberty High School in Hillsboro.

The Hornets (12-1) are riding a nine-game wining streak, including playoff victories over Mohawk 70-30; top-ranked Lowell 36-18, and Cove 30-14. 

Kickoff is at 12:00PM.
