The senior defensive back was a second team selection on defense after leading RHS to a 10-2 record and a trip to the 6A quarterfinals. The Indians were eliminated by eventual state champion Aloha by a score of 34-7.

The Warriors swept the top honors with sophomore running back Thomas Tyner being named the offensive 'player of the year'; lineback John Shaffer was the defensive 'player of the year'; and Chris Casey was the 'coach of the year'.
